California Women's List proudly endorses progressive candidates for statewide offices, state legislative races, and city councils, citywide offices, and county supervisor positions across ten major California counties. We focus on cities with populations over 250,000, ensuring impactful representation.
Our questionnaire takes about 25 minutes. It’s totally worth it.

Our Endorsement Process
To seek our endorsement for the 2026 general election, please complete our questionnaire by March 12, 2026.
You will then be invited to a 30-minute interview with CWL Board Members. Interviews will be scheduled on a rolling basis as applications are received.

Who We Endorse
Our endorsement process is open to all pro-choice Democratic womenrunning for state office in California and to candidates for city council, citywide office, and county supervisor in the following counties:
Alameda
Fresno
Los Angeles
Orange
Riverside
Sacramento
San Diego
San Francisco
San Joaquin
Santa Clara
CWL only endorses in cities with populations greater than 250,000. CWL does not endorse judiciary or educational candidates.
