Chantel Lopez

Communications Chair

Chantel Lopez is a communications strategist, social media professional, public servant, lifestyle content creator, and proud girls' girl dedicated to advancing the rights, protections, and opportunities of women and girls.

She believes social media is one of the most powerful tools for education, advocacy, and community building, and uses digital storytelling to amplify women's voices, raise awareness about issues impacting women and girls, and inspire meaningful change.

A passionate advocate for intersectional feminism, Chantel leverages communications and social media to spotlight issues affecting survivors of violence and historically marginalized communities. Professionally, she serves as a Social Media Specialist for the San Francisco Mayor's Office of Economic and Workforce Development, where she develops content that helps local small businesses increase visibility and highlights the events, culture, and opportunities that make San Francisco unique.

Chantel also serves as Vice President of Programs for California NOW (National Organization for Women) and is a certified crisis counselor with San Francisco Women Against Rape, supporting survivors and working to end sexual violence. As Communications Chair for California Women's List, she brings expertise in strategic communications, digital engagement, advocacy messaging, and audience growth.

She is committed to using her voice to advance policies and protections that ensure women and girls can live free from violence, exercise bodily autonomy, and thrive in equitable communities. Her advocacy is rooted in the belief that feminism must be intersectional, inclusive, and accessible to all women and girls.
